Upland has been owned and operated by the same family since it was founded in 1969. In addition to aggregate services, Upland Group also provides trucking services, civil contracting and waste management services. Currently, Upland employs over 100 people in fulltime permanent positions; and at certain times, the number of employees can increase to approximately 200.
Some of our clients
With a large equipment fleet, mechanical and technical support, Upland has participated in many prominent, high-profile projects for both private and public clients such as Island Co-Gen. Plant, Vancouver Island Highway Construction, Elk Falls Mill Effluent Treatment Plant, and Comox Sanitary Force Main Protection project.
Some of the customers we now serve are BC Hydro, Kinetic Construction, Cermaq Canada, Grieg Seafoods, City of Campbell River, Mainroad Contracting, Fish farmers, Developers, Myra Falls, Ministry of forests, and local Municipal governments.
